‘Eight ways to play or sing a piece’: A workshop on the paths to creative performances among conservatoire music students

The aim of the second workshop in this project was to share the findings of the first year of fieldwork with teaching staff from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and the Royal College of Music. Most participants who joined the workshop had taken part in one or more project initiatives in the previous year.
Plans for the second year of research were introduced, and a lively discussion raised many ideas that will be incorporated into the upcoming fieldwork. The workshop finished with lunch, which allowed further discussion of aspects of the previous and future research agendas.
