This seminar series featured speakers who specialise in performance, the study of performance, or both. Intended to present some of the most advanced work taking place in the field of musical performance studies, the series was designed to appeal to a wide audience ranging from university music departments and conservatoires to the worlds of professional and amateur performance. For archive purposes, the abstracts and biographies provided here conform to the versions originally published on the CMPCP and IMR websites. Established by CMPCP in 2011, the series is now hosted by the Cambridge Centre for Musical Performance Studies in association with the IMR.
