The AHRC Research Centre for Musical Performance as Creative Practice is committed to organising events for a wide range of audiences. In addition to hosting the three international conferences of the Performance Studies Network, the Centre holds regular project workshops, the purpose of which is to gain advice from external experts as well as other members of the CMPCP team. We run the CMPCP/IMR Performance/Research Seminars series in conjunction with the Institute of Musical Research, with the aim of presenting the latest research about performance in addition to fostering dialogue and debate between musicians and musicologists. Finally, CMPCP puts on periodic masterclasses, public lectures, and other events involving musical performance, some of which feature our Affiliate Artists. |
